نفت السكرتارية التنظيمية للمرحلة النهائية من العملية السياسية، منع القنوات الفضائية السودانية والعالمية من نقل مداولات مؤتمر التفكيك بزعم سريتها.
قالت السكرتارية بإن مزاعم المنيع نسب إليها والممثل الخاص لبعثة الأمم المتحدة المتكاملة، فولكر بيرتس.
وأشارت إلى أن وسائل الاعلام المحلية والعالمية ظلت حاضرة في تغطيتها للمؤتمر طيلة الايام الخمسة، ولم يمارس أي منع أو حجر على تغطيتها الحرة والمستقلة، بما فيها النقل المباشر للمداولات علي الصفحة الرسمية للمرحلة النهائية.
وفي الجلسة الصباحية ليوم الثلاثاء 10 يناير، أوضحت أن منصة التقديم اكتظت بعشرات مايكروفونات القنوات الفضائية لنقل ورقة الكساندر ماير، حول المعايير الدولية لعملية التفكيك.
وتابعت بأن ذلك أدى لإستحالة ان يضع ويستخدم جهاز الحاسوب المستخدم في مداخلته.
أبانت أنه تم الطلب من ممثلي القنوات بازاحة المايكروفونات من على المنصة لتسهيل بداية الجلسة وتقديم المداخلة، على خلفية ذلك تجاوب وتفهم معظمهم ذلك الطلب وواصل في التغطية، بينما اعترضت عدد من القنوات.
وأضافت أن القنوات الفضائية المحلية والعالمية واصلت تغطية ونقل فعاليات المؤتمر طيلة الأيام التالية، بما فيها الجلسة الختامية وتصريحات الآلية الثلاثية والمؤتمر الصحفي للناطق الرسمي للعملية السياسية.
